The official accommodation agent for the congress will be Kuoni Travel Ltd (www.kuoni.co.uk).
In close consultation with us they have made a selection of hotels in London. We advise you to make your reservation far in advance. Hotel accommodation is made on a first-come, first-served basis.
ACCREDITATION
The ESTRO Anniversary Conference is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.
The ESTRO Anniversary Conference is designated for a maximum of (or 'for up to') 21 hours of European external CME credits. The pre-meeting courses have been designated for a maximum of 6 CME credits each.
EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical Association towards the Physician's Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credit to AMA PRA category 1 credit, contact the AMA.
Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME credit system is based on 1 ECMEC per hour with a maximum of 3 ECMECs for half a day and 6 ECMECs for a full-day event.
CURRENCY
The currency in London is the GBP.
OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
The official language of the congress is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.
POSTERS
The poster area will be in the conference centre and therefore, posters may be viewed at any time during conference hours. Electronic poster stations located in the exhibit hall and in different areas around the conference centre will be available to allow you to view the virtual displays at your leisure and to correspond with presenters or forward a presentation to a colleague or home office.
POSTER DISPLAY
The dimensions of the poster boards are 0.90 m wide by 1.50 m high (Portrait orientation). Double sided tape for mounting your poster will be available in the poster area. Posters can be mounted as of 16:00 on Sunday, 8 May 2011. (Posters for the ISIORT meeting can be mounted as of 08:00 on Saturday, 7 May 2011). Authors are requested to be present next to their poster during the poster reception which will be held on Monday, 9 May 2011 as of 18:00. It will also be indicated in the official schedule, that posters can be viewed during lunch time on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Posters should be removed on Thursday, 12 May 2011 before 12.00.

EXHIBITION
An exhibition featuring equipment and medical publishers will be held in the Exhibition area. The opening of the exhibition will be on Sunday 8 May 2011 at 19.30. The exhibition will remain open from Monday 9 May to Wednesday 11 May. Entrance is free for all registered participants and accompanying persons.
Companies and publishers who would like to participate in the exhibition may obtain more detailed information from the ESTRO Office.

INSURANCE
The organiser does not accept liability for individual medical, travel or personal insurance. Participants are strongly advised to take out their own personal insurance policies.
In case an unforeseen event would force ESTRO to cancel the meeting, the Society will reimburse the participants the registration fee minus 15% for handling charges. ESTRO will not be responsible for the refund of travel and accommodation costs.
LUNCHEONS AND REFRESHMENTS
The registration fee for the conference includes lunch and coffee breaks to all participants and exhibitors wearing their conference badges.
OPENING CEREMONY & WELCOME RECEPTION
All participants, registered accompanying persons and company delegates are invited to the official opening ceremony which will be held in the main auditorium on Sunday 8 May 2011 at 18:00. The opening ceremony will be followed by the welcome reception which will take place in the Exhibition area.
SATELLITE SYMPOSIA

HOW TO REACH LONDON
ExCeL London is easy to get to from three of London’s main airports - London City, Heathrow, Gatwick - via Docklands Light Railway (DLR ), underground and mainline rail services.
By Air (London City Airport)
Located 5-minutes from ExCeL London, by car or taxi, London City Airport offers direct access to over 30 European & UK destinations, with 350 flights per day. Additionally, connect to ExCeL London by taking the DLR from the airport in the direction of Bank. Change at Canning Town onto a DLR service bound for Beckton.
By Tube & DLR (Docklands Light Railway)
ExCeL London and ICC London are located in zone 3. London Underground tickets are valid on the DLR . It is recommended to purchase a return ticket or All-Day Travelcard to avoid queuing on your journey home.
Single, return and Travelcard tickets can be purchased from the ticket machines at Custom House and Prince Regent Stations. These machines are also enabled for Oystercard ‘Pay As You Go’ top up.
Oystercard users are reminded to touch in and out at the card readers at DLR stations to avoid paying excess fares.
By Rail (Eurostar)
There is easy access to St Pancras International for highspeed Eurostar Services to Paris, Lille and Brussels. For further information please visit www.eurostar.com.
By tube from St Pancras take the Northern Line Southbound to Bank. From Bank take the DLR (direction Beckton) to Prince Regent.

ExCeL London is located 10 minutes from Canary Wharf, in the heart of London’s Royal Docks.
There is easy access to the venue - with three onsite DLR (Docklands Light Railway) stations, easy access to London Underground (Jubilee Line – two stops away on the DLR from Canning Town for ExCeL west entrance), parking for 3,700 cars and an international airport 5-minutes away.

located on Level 0. London black cabs are also available at the taxi ranks, located at the west and east entrances. Fares are charged on a meter basis at the end of the journey.
