ESTRO International Oncology Forum
The concept of the conference is unique as it will offer the opportunity to review 30 years of Radiation Oncology in 30 hours. It will also provide a broad vision on future research projects that will eventually translate into new and better clinical options for our patients.
The scientific programme will include:
A review of thirty years of radiation oncology in all the major tumour sites, with discussion of the evidence base for existing treatment and the significant past, present and future clinical trials for each.
State of the art lectures on hot topics: New frontiers in metastasic cancers, How high precision technology will change our life, Translating research in imaging into clinical practice Etc…
Sessions developed in collaboration with the EU national, international and sister oncology societies such as ASTRO, JASTRO, CARO, ESSO, ASCO, ESMO, ECCO, EANM, and organ-based sessions will be organised with EAU, ERS, ESGO, ESTS, etc.
Positioned as a post-graduate training programme, the meeting will also offer a pre-meeting course on Radiosurgery and Stereotactic body Radiotherapy as well as four e-contouring sessions (breast, prostate, head and neck and rectum).
In addition, individuals will have plenty of opportunity to contribute abstracts either as posters or for consideration for oral presentation..
