11th Biennial on Physics & Radiation Technology For Clinical Radiotherapy

The programme of the 11th Biennial fosters the ESTRO aim of bringing together specialists from different disciplines to create a strong and successful team of all those involved in patient care. The conference is dedicated to physicists and RTTs but it also attracts more and more clinicians.
The scientific programme will focus on emerging topics such as: Advanced imaging for radiotherapy, Dose painting based on functional imaging, QA of imaging, risk management, practical technologies, IMRT planning, patient environment, etc.
There will be a young scientists programme, sessions on the professional mobility of medical physicists and the role of the various different national societies and federations.
The programme includes symposia, proffered papers, poster display and poster sessions. A large emphasis on Education will also be set with pre-meeting courses and teaching lectures scheduled every morning.
