Course directors:  Olivier Feron, UCL Clinique Universitaire St Luc, Brussels, (BE) and Nils Cordes, OncoRay - Center for Radiation Research in Oncology, Dresden (DE)

Course aim:
The tumour microenvironment is of major importance for the radiation response of tumours. Therefore, the course Contribution of Tumour Microenvironment to Radiation Responses aims to introduce detailed insights into specific aspects of the tumour microenvironment with relevance for radiation therapy.

Educational Programme:
• General principles of angiogenesis and anti-angiogenic therapies
• Dynamics of tumour hypoxia
• Molecular aspects of tumour hypoxia
