YOUNG SCIENTISTS EDUCATIONAL LUNCH SYMPOSIUM

The Young Scientist Session within the framework of ESTRO 29 will feature a lunch symposium with representatives of leading institutions from Europe and Canada running international exchange programs for young professionals working in radiotherapy. Potential participants include: MAASTRO clinic, Maastricht; University Hospital and Medical Faculty C.G. Carus, Dresden; Aarhus University Hospital, Aarhus; University of Liège, Liège;  Institute Gustave Roussy, Villejuif; Netherlands Cancer Institute, Amsterdam; and Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto. There will be a short introduction of each institution followed by informal discussions between participants and institution representatives.
This is a great opportunity for you to receive first hand information about the research and training possibilities in these institutions. Those who are currently in, or that have completed exchange programmes, will also share their experiences.

The lunch symposium will take place on Tuesday, September  14 at 13:00 hrs - Don't miss this great opportunity!

Don’t miss the other parts of the exciting programme such as the teaching lecture on how to maximise the visibility of your abstract, the symposium summarising the recent achievements in our field across all four disciplines, the Young Scientist ESTRO Poster Session giving the participants a great opportunity for scientific exchange.
And of course, the social event on Tuesday night, (14th September). An event you will not want to miss!
You will find more information in due course on the ESTRO 29 Facebook page and on the ESTRO Flash.
